The Department has awarded 'A' gradation from DTE.Govt. of Karnataka,The Department has 5 ranks to its credit. Majority of students are either placed in reputed companies or studying engineering colleges of repute. We have faculty having 10 years of valuable experience and some of our faculties are taking part in syllabus information committee and Lab Set Up Committee of DTE.

The department consists of 6 teaching staff & 3 supporting staff. The department has well qualified, experienced, committed & motivated faculty. It has well equipped laboratories & other infrastructure. Computer labs is well equipped with softwares like Winxp2, Red hat Linux ver. 5, jdk 1.6, Edit plus, K-Basics etc.

Computer lab is equipped with software’s like CATIA, AUTOCAD, SOLID EDGE, CADM, MAT lab etc.

The department was established in the year 1994. Automobile department well equipped with technically qualified and experienced staff with established laboratory facilities. The main objective of diploma in automobile engineering is to give students a broad exposure in concepts and practical exposures to the modern developments in automobile and also train them to meet the technological challenges. Seminars are organized by eminent personalities from academic and industries. In addition, frequent industrial visits and training are provided to the students.

Civil Engineering in K S Polytechnic was started in the year 2004, with intake of 45 students with well furnished Laboratories and classrooms. The intake was increased to 60 for next batch. The first batch of students was passed out in the year 2007 with flying colors. Many students have completed the course with distinctions. Campus interviews were conducted by ACC and ABB for the first batch of students for ABB and 3 students for ACC were selected. Similarly the campus interview is being conducted for the successive batch. Many of the students are working in prestigious construction companies like ABB, ACC, Mantri developers and Shobha developers.

Designers consider factors such as traffic flow, spatial organization, and functionality to optimize the use of space and enhance the overall user experience.
