Mechanical Engineering is headed by Shafiur rahaman. The department consists of 06 teaching staff and 02 nonteaching staff. The department has well qualified, committed and motivated faculty. It has well equipped laboratories, workshops and other infrastructures. Recently mechatronics lab is upgraded with circuit marker software. Computer lab is equipped with software’s like CATIA, AUTOCAD, SOLID EDGE, CADM, MAT lab etc.
This year the department had planned to organize technical seminars from various industries and educational institutions. Department is also planning to conduct seminars related to road safety, health etc from related field experts. This year students of final year are engaged in making innovative projects. For final year students department has planned to conduct industrial visits to Raichur thermal plan, Dandali paper mill, varahi power project etc.
